Amanda Milling, Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase has launched a competition to design her official MP Christmas card for 2015.
The competition, the first of an annual event, is open to all children of primary and junior school age in the Cannock Chase constituency. Schools are being asked to organise sessions for children to make their designs. Local children’s clubs can also take part as long as children are between 4 and 11.
Amanda’s official MP Christmas card for 2015 will be professionally printed and sent out to local people, organisations and businesses across the seat as well as the Prime Minister, David Cameron.
Amanda Milling said "I am delighted to launch the competition to design my official Christmas card for 2015. This is a real community project, giving children in the area the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity."
All designs need to be A4 and a panel of local judges will select a winner and two runner ups. The winning design will be the main picture of the card with the runner ups featuring on the back of the card.
Amanda Milling added, "I hope that lots of schools and clubs will take up the challenge and get involved.”
Entries will need to be with Amanda Milling MP by 31st October. All entry’s need to be sent to her constituency office at 11a Market Street, Hednesford, Cannock, WS12 1AY.
