There are so many brilliant businesses across Cannock and recently I met with local entrepreneur, Steve Mallows, who has set up Cannock Eats – a food delivery app which allows you to easily order your favourite takeaways from local restaurants.
It has been wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the Platinum Jubilee over the weekend. And I have been proud to see all the Union Jacks and Jubilee flags decorating our high streets and houses.
The Sports Minister, Nigel Huddleston MP, joined Amanda Milling MP and Theo Clarke MP at Forestry England’s launch of two new mountain biking trails in Cannock Chase Forest ahead of the Commonwealth Games. Perry’s Trail and the Pedal and Play Trail were officially opened at the launch.

Last week it was an honour, as the Minister responsible for the Overseas Territories, to attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the historic day that the British naval taskforce was dispatched to the Falklands.
